SUMMER RETREATS
Horizon’s annual summer retreat has served as a pivotal and life-changing event for, on average, 150 youth around the Bay. In the summer of 2008, a handful of pastors who committed themselves to praying for young people partnered together for an annual summer retreat. Their intention was to provide a place of worship that was grounded in the word of God and was centered around the desire to see this generation become passionate followers of Jesus Christ. Since then, God has blessed and challenged the students and leaders who come each year. Students have gone on to become ministry leaders, serve their local churches, and be committed Christ-followers wherever they are. By the grace and power of God, Horizon desires to be a part of the coming revival in the Bay area and is praying that this summer retreat serves as a catalyst for an awakening in the youth.
KOINONIA
Horizon ministry believes that God is working out His salvation plan through the local church and sees the need for youth workers to unite and enrich life together for the next generation ministry. It also acknowledges that it takes the effort to keep the unity of the Spirit and exists to serve as a platform for youth workers who share the same passion and values of faith to have a time of fellowship. It’s a monthly gathering for praise, prayer, accountability, and doing ministry and life together.

EVENTS
Horizon Ministries also hosts two events every year:
a Spring rally for youth students around the Bay and the Hosanna pastors praise night in the Fall.
It’s our mission to unite the Youth leaders around the Bay Area and together bring revival to each Youth group and local church.
We also want to promote a place for leaders to be encouraged, sharpened, and to build each other up for the ministry of the Gospel.
